Our story
Ministry of Repentance and Holiness USA was established as a Maryland organization in 2016 and was recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry in 2019. Today we are a national ministry with local churches across the country, headquartered in the Baltimore–Washington area. Our headquarters and church-planting leadership team are based at Baltimore Hope City Church, led by Senior Pastor Louis Lupo, which meets Sundays at Patterson High School in Baltimore. We also connect believers across the nation through online teaching and fellowship.
Our spiritual covering
We serve under the spiritual umbrella of the Ministry of Repentance and Holiness, founded by Prophet Dr. David Owuor. Its revival meetings have drawn crowds of millions across Africa and hundreds of thousands in Latin American nations, including Argentina, Brazil, and Venezuela. In the United States, we carry the same call: national revival and a return to righteousness and holiness.
Our leadership
- Louis Lupo, Senior Pastor and General Overseer: Louis leads the ministry nationally and pastors Baltimore Hope City Church, our headquarters church. He also directs Awakening Acts, our local outreach arm, and is a teaching anchor for the Towson prison ministry.
Awakening Acts
Awakening Acts is our social outreach arm in the Baltimore–Washington region. It carries out our hands-on work: prison ministry, street outreach, and practical support for people rebuilding their lives. Learn more at awakeningacts.org.
